women's roller derby league in Leeds ?

I want to set up a women's roller derby league in Leeds. If you can't skate you can be taught (so we need skaters who are willing to teach others - including me) or you can do something else. There is currently a new-ish one in London (see www.londonrollergirls.com) but none elsewhere although it's very popular in the US. At this stage I need women of all ages who want to help set it up. The LRG have offered some help in setting up but please answer only if you think you can spare the time and energy not to drop out after a few weeks.

Team in middlesbrough

I know it's an hour away, but we've got a team going in Middlesbrough

We practise once a fortnight (we're starting off relaxed yeah?) at the Rainbow centre in Coulby Newham, with extra practises starting at Albert Park soon .
